my programming days began when i played on our vic 20 using the language basic. i think my first program was a menu where the user could select what they wanted to order. fast forward a number of years, and i graduated with honours from cdi college with a programmer/analyst diploma. i then worked for a number of years for a software company in toronto. as the web grew, i was drawn to it and began developing websites. it not only allowed me to use my strong programming skills, but also my creative skills. you can never stop learning in this industry, and that is something i love about what i do. i keep up to date on new technologies and ideas and am continually taking the time to learn so that i can serve my clients as best possible.

i have also worked for a number of years in the administrative field. because of this, when you hire me not only are you hiring a skilled professional, but you’re also hiring someone who is able to communicate with you on a non-techie level. i have seen the frustration of people trying to follow the conversation and instructions of someone who can only speak geek-talk. i pride myself in knowing how to bridge that gap.
